Anglepoise Type 75

The Anglepoise Type 75 lamp collection consists of three table lamps, two wall lamps, a clamp lamp, a floor lamp and a recessed lamp. With the exception of the Type 75 Wall Light, all lamps in this collection have flexible arms. The arms can be readjusted at any time thanks to a cosntant tension spring technology developed by industrial designer George Carwadine in the 1930s. This technology also ensures that the arms keep every set position. All lights of this series have a swivelling and rotating lamp shade. The light series was created by the British designer Sir Kenneth Grange in 2004, who had already worked on shavers and the English Intercity 125 train. Both Paul Smith and Margaret Howell have designed their own colour versions of the Type 75 Desk Lamp in collaboration with Anglepoise.
